Martin bought a KTM 350 EXC-F built in 2016 in August. He wanted to ride motocross and enduro with it in the autumn.
On Friday, October 9th, 2020, Martin fell while training on the motocross track: braked before the bend and dismounted. He injured his left hand. As a precaution, the ambulance and the emergency doctor were alerted. They decided to have the injury checked up at the hospital. After an X-ray examination as well as CT and ultrasound diagnosis a fracture in the wrist was found. This was operated on immediately and fastened with a plate and several screws.
After three days of inpatient stay, he was released from the hospital. Two weeks after the operation, the sutures were removed and he started occupational therapy.
