This weekend we visited the @pureandcrafted festival in Amsterdam🇳🇱 The mix of music and bikes is amazing and we had a really good time there. It was our second time in Amsterdam and the first time on a festival like this. During the day we met a friend of us -> @tomtouryt with @der_reitwagen was great to meet you again. The craziest expierience for us was the Wall of Death and the show of @amelie_mooseder with her spitfire🔥 you guys rock!! Thanks to @bmwmotorrad for the tickets.
The festival sponsored by BMW Motorrad is a mixture of motorcycle fair and music festival with a lot of culinary delicacies and supporting program. For us it was the first time on a motorcycle festival.
We used the weekend and also visited the city center of Amsterdam. In great autumn weather, we walked through the streets and along the canals to the sights of the city, before we came to the festival.
With a shuttle bus from the bus station, just near our hotel in Zaandam, we came quickly to the site. From a distance we already heard the first band doing their soundcheck. At the entrance we got our entrance ribbons and explored the various offers right at the beginning.
We could not resist watching the first performance of the Wall of Death this afternoon. Daring and fully focused, the riders and riders in the vertical wooden track show their driving skills. That was already a real highlight for us.
Afterwards we met Tom (TomTour), a friend and well-known “YouTuber” from Austria. Together we walked through the halls of the festival and admired the exciting custom bikes and listened to the bands on the various stages.
The highlight for us was the presentation of VTR-Customs and Amelie Mooseder with their “Spitfire”. With a lot of noise and flames from the exhaust she heated her audience properly.
Conclusion: We enjoyed our time in Amsterdam very much. The festival was a lot of fun although the number of visitors was obviously not that big. That was probably due to the weather. However, we are very pleased with the atmosphere and the flair and are already looking forward to the next motorcycle festival in this way.
